Fall Colors in Oregon

We’re in the process of buying a woodburning stove for what we call the family barn. I have an office set up in the barn, and I love writing out there during the summer months. Unfortunately, our summer months in Oregon are short in comparison to the cooler fall and winter seasons.  A woodburning stove will allow me to use the barn year-round.

This morning we went to the woodburning stove store to finalize the purchase. On the way there I was reminded of one of the many reasons I love living in Oregon. The fall colors are spectacular. Seasons weren’t something we really experienced in Havasu.

Me as Grandma Bear

I’m back from the short visit with my daughter and grandkids. Her hubby was off on a hunting trip, so I only saw him the first day I was there.  While the trip was brief, I enjoyed myself. I even joined the grandkids for some trick or treating around their neighborhood. I borrowed my son-in-law’s costume. So instead of the Three Bears being a papa, mama, and baby bear, we were grandma, mama, and baby bear.

My new book, The Ghost and the Twins, came out last Monday. During the first few days, it earned a Top New Release banner at Amazon in ghosts, and a bestseller banner over at Barnes & Noble. It currently has 274 ratings at Amazon, with a 4.8-star average, and 121 ratings on Goodreads, with a 4.9-star average.

The audiobook for The Ghost and the Wedding Crasher came out on Halloween, and The Ghost and the Twins audiobook is coming in January.

Since returning home, I’ve been working on my social media and marketing. The first thing I’m focusing on—my newsletter. I try to send out a newsletter every two weeks. But I’ve been a little flaky the last few months.  Yet I promise to get back to every two weeks—and in each newsletter I have a raffle.

New Haunting Danielle releases!

First things first—The Ghost and the Twins (Book 33 in the Haunting Danielle series) eBook went live today! It is also available in large print and regular print format. Click here for purchase options. Its audiobook will be released on Jan 16, 2024, by Tantor Media.

Tomorrow, on Halloween 2023, The Ghost and the Wedding Crasher audiobook (released by Tantor Media) goes live!

The last six months have been rather hectic. It began with moving Mom into a memory care facility, me having knee replacement surgery, adjusting to Mom’s move, physical therapy for my new knee, and writing and releasing The Ghost and the Twins.

The next Haunting Danielle book, The Ghost and the Poltergeist is slated for release April 30, 2024. It is available for pre-order at Amazon, Apple, and Barnes and Noble.

In the upcoming months, I am hoping to get reinvolved on social media, as I pretty much checked out these last few months.

As I type this, I am on a brief getaway, visiting my daughter’s family—which includes my two grandchildren.

Wishing you all a safe and fun Halloween!
