Time to take a break and the weather is more than accommodating! My newest release, The Ghost and the Medium, has been out two days now and it already has 55 rating/reviews over on Amazon, with a 4.8 star average and with lots of positive comments from my readers.
Now I can sit back, take a deep breath and visit with friends. Dear friends Carolyn and Dave came up from California for a visit, and will be staying for a few days. We haven’t seen them since pre-pandemic. Back in the summer of 2019 we took an RV trip with them up the California coast, and Don and I went on into Oregon.
It’s great to see them again. Carolyn and I go back a long way. Our kids grew up together. Our daughters were in each others weddings. My daughter, Elizabeth, considerers her daughter a sister. Back when I had the Mountain/Hi-Desert Guide paper when I lived in Wrightwood, Carolyn worked for me. But she was always a friend first. Nice to spend time with friends again.
At the moment, Carolyn’s taking an afternoon nap, but I hear Dave and Don chatting outside on the porch, enjoying the sunshine. I think I’ll go join them. Have a great weekend!
Hello Bobbie. I have just finished the Ghost and the Medium. I could not put it down until I had finished it lol. Another great story. You are a fabulous writer with a brilliant imagination. I just love all your stories. I am so selfish in saying I can’t wait till the next book..
I don’t think people like myself realise that you have a life outside of writing. Yes you do need a break. To give that great brain of yours a rest.
