In three days Tantor Media releases the audiobook of The Ghost and the Baby, Book 21 of the Haunting Danielle series. The next audiobook scheduled to be released is The Ghost and the Halloween Haunt, on Christmas Eve.

My audiobook listeners have been asking me when the most recent book of the series—Book 23, The Ghost and the Christmas Spirit will be available on audiobook. I wish I could give them a date, but I can’t. Let me explain why.

My publishing company, Robeth Publishing, handles the release of the eBook and paperback editions of the Haunting Danielle series. Therefore, I can easily answer any questions about those future releases.

Robeth Publishing does not handle the production of the audiobooks. Thus far, Tantor Media has purchased the audiobook rights to the first 22 books of the Haunting Danielle series. In the past, they have typically purchased the rights to three or four titles at a time—and there is no guarantee they will continue to purchase the rights to future books.

Of course, even if Tantor decides they are no longer interested in the series, it doesn’t mean the end of new Haunting Danielle audiobooks; it would simply mean a change in publisher. What this means for my listeners, at this point in time, I don’t know when The Ghost and the Christmas Spirit will be available in audiobook format. When I do know, I will post it on the blog and in our newsletter.

According to the Tantor website, the Ghost and the Christmas Spirit should be out June 16 — and the Ghost and the Silver Scream on August 18–on audiobook!!
